I fly a planes.

I’m Eric. Hi.

I enjoy making websites and flying airplanes.

Before graduating from UND’s John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Science in 2007, I had two years in Seattle University’s excellent Honors Program. Ask me about philosophy, history, or aviation, and I will probably hold forth at length; sorry in advance. I hold a commercial pilot certificate with instrument & multi-engine privileges and am a certified flight instructor (instrument). After graduation I spent 4 years as an instructor at a small flight school, and now freelance from time to time.

The majority of the time I work at Redfin as a frontend web developer on the Seattle engineering team, although I’m beginning to dabble in iOS as well. My projects have ranged from implementing a site-wide redesign, to creating internal javascript tools, to building responsive HTML emails. It’s a fun, challenging job and we’re nearly constantly hiring fun, smart people.
