networking

You might have noticed the little 9rules network leaf logo up top. You also might already know that aeronaut was accepted into the network after the latest round of submissions. Out of 700 sites, 115 were chosen to be a part of what is probably one of the cooler projects to pop up on the internet in the past few years. To the other new members – congratulations!

If you aren’t up on the whole blog thing, in their own words, 9rules is

“a community of the best weblogs in the world on a variety of topics. We started 9rules to give passionate writers more exposure and to help readers find great blogs on their favorite subjects. It’s difficult to find sites worth returning to, so 9rules brings together the very best of the independent web all under one roof… Anyone can join 9rules — you don’t have to be well-known, networked, rich, successful, or beautiful — but you do have to have a fiery passion for the medium.”

9rules is designed to connect readers and writers to all sorts of topics. There’s not much there on aviation so far, but hopefully the community can foster more discussion, both here and on all of the other new members’ sites. I’m always happy to talk about the aerospace industry and flying, which is (of course) why I do this. And, of course, the more participation, the more I can learn and improve.

I guess I’ll see what the folks have to say about matters biological.

Congrats, Eric! :-)

Congrats mate. Well-deserved.

Thanks! :)

Apparently I'm the first 9rules pilot; hopefully round 5 will bring some more. I think that if we can work on building a community it would really create more commentary - most of the aviation blogs I've seen are news-oriented.

good jlolb

Congratulations. :)

I like the design, by the way, even if the content means nothing to me!
